Edgescan Awarded Pen Testing Solution of the Year

Winners of Pen Testing Solution of the Year 2019

The Leonardo Royal Hotel, London City by Tower Bridge was the venue for the 2019 Computing Security Awards ceremony. Former England cricket Captain, Chris Cowdrey, was MC for the evening and he was assisted in presenting the awards by Dave Bonner and Brian Wall of Computing Security and Comedian, Sean Collins.  Edgescan was nominated for three awards. We were up for Pen Testing Solution of the Year, Security Project of the Year for our work with the CoderDojo Foundation and the Editor’s Choice Award.

We were honoured to be nominated at all, but to be nominated for three awards was a prize in itself.  We we’re particularly chuffed to win Pen Testing Solution of the Year, especially since the award was voted by our clients.

Attending the awards on behalf of the Edgescan team were Eoin Keary (CEO), Rahim Jina (COO), Ciaran Byrne (Head of Platform Operations) and Jan Carroll (Marketing & Information Manager).

Eoin thanked everyone at Edgescan for ‘all your hard work in making Edgescan the leader in pen-testing and vulnerability management’,  and Rahim thanked ‘everyone who took the time to vote for us’.

The Computing Security Awards is UK’s principal badge of honour in the IT enterprise industry.  Thanks to Computing Security for putting on such an enjoyable night and we’ll be back next year to defend our title.
